In Islamic Society of Britain, we know that the world is your horizon; you have energy, enthusiasm and strong shoulders. Many of us have been in your shoes, treading through campuses and colleges finding new friends and tasting new experiences - this is why we have developed a programme just for you at the Living Islam Festival.
Here, you will meet like minded young people where you can have discussions and workshops centred on issues that you face today.
We will look at issues that are varied and exciting; be it around identity, the social scene on campus, alcohol and drugs, relationships, segregation and gender ethics, extremism and how to have a positive outlook on life.
We will bring to you dynamic speakers and scholars who you can question to your hearts content.
Not just that, but we have arranged a late night Dhikr session led by Imam Talibul Habib as well as a Coffee Shop evening with our nasheed artists.
There will also be a session where you can volunteer and make a difference during this weekend, gaining invaluable skills along the way.
As our young generation, you are critical to our community. Your input is essential and valued. So we will be discussing issues that are relevant to you and exploring our faith together. We will welcome lively debates, discussion and questioning!
Just come along to the Campus Marquee and see what is on offer!
